Teacher Training
Whether you're a new voice teacher building your studio or an experienced educator looking to deepen your understanding of contemporary vocal pedagogy, I offer individualized teacher training and mentorship designed to bridge the gap between vocal science and practical teaching. Drawing from over 25 years of teaching experience, graduate training in Music Psychology and Theatre, and extensive continuing education in contemporary commercial music (CCM) pedagogy, vocal anatomy, acoustics, and trauma-informed teaching practices, I help teachers develop evidence-based, student-centered approaches that produce healthy, sustainable, emotionally grounded voices.
Mentorship sessions are tailored to your goals and may include topics such as vocal anatomy and function, registration’s link to emotion, belt and mix coordination, diagnosing and troubleshooting vocal challenges, lesson planning, repertoire selection, studio management, psychology of learning and performance, trauma-informed pedagogy, and effective communication strategies for diverse learners. Whether you're seeking greater confidence in teaching contemporary styles, refining your technical knowledge, or integrating current voice science into your studio, our work together is collaborative, practical, and immediately applicable to your own teaching studio.
